Invading Cajamarca Peru
This Friday, October 13, we are loading up 112 missionaries on two double decker buses to "invade" the historic, Andean city of Cajamarca, 13 hours north of Lima to meet up with an advance team that is already preparing for our massive INVASION!.
We have scheduled a prayer breakfast with the Mayor and the 20-member city council for Monday morning, October 16th. That same day, we will also be ministering in the local prision. Throughout the week we will be visiting orphanages, schools and two universities, and sharing Jesus' love in the city parks, plazas and market places.
Four drama teams and as many puppet teams have been rehearsing for weeks, and we'll have a half dozen face-painting, balloon sculpturing, clowns to bless the kids. Two bands are ready to provide lively music to the large crowds we will be ministering to, and a dentist will be offering her services to needy children.
The three-night "gran finale" will be held in the local stadium (Thursday - Friday - Saturday) where we will hold concerts and heart-touching films, plus evangelistic messages with pastor Fausto Pflucker who will be joining us from California.
We have printed 32,000 "newspaper" tracts for the 7-day event, and have purchased 100's of Bibles to give away. The goal is to plant "Calvary Chapel of Cajamarca," and pastor Diego Recarte will be prepared Sunday morning to follow-up on those who respond to the outreach.
Thank you for praying for this massive event! Below are the names of the 120 team members so you can intercede for each by name. We are encouraged to know that you will be fighting with us!
Gratefully Yours,
John Bonner

A Message of Thanks
Dear Pastors of Calvary Chapel,
I, together with my church, Cross of Grace Ministries International, say thanks for your love I felt when I visited your church. I had a good trip back to Uganda and am sure you are all doing well in the work of God.It is my kind request that you continue standing with us in prayers for GOD to open doors for us, here in Africa, that we can serve him dilgently.
I am sure your love for African brothers will always bring hope in our hearts. Otherwise, we are thankful for every word you shared with us in your church. Shalom
Pastor Edima Richard - Uganda
